Local Goverment and administrative organization
Spain is organized into three territorial levels (national, regional and local), each of which has differentiated areas of power. At the same time, an increasingly decentralized model of Public Administration has evolved during the past years, leading to important organizational changes within Public Authorities. All these circumstances have led to a wide selection of bodies belonging the Administration, with own legal personality and specific legal systems (agencies, public companies, public foundations...).
As a result, administrative organization has become a dynamic branch of Administrative Law, subject to constant evolution. It is a field that has a direct effect on the internal organization of each public authority and on the co-ordination of new entities that are linked to the referred authorities and can manage some of their powers, as for example, their external relations with citizens.
The sound experience of our professionals enables us to offer specialized advice on this field of law. Our services include the submission of legal reports, providing assistance in the creation of decentralized bodies, and generally, offering advice in relation to any questions posed by new ways of co-ordinating and organizing public authorities.
