Graduate in Law, Universitat de Barcelona (special award for degree, 1982). Master’s Degree in Catalan Public Law, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (1988).

Civil servant, member of the team of legal representatives to the Catalan Government (on leave), and member of the High Corps of the Catalan Government (on leave). She has developed a long professional career as legal counsellor to the Catalan Government, in particular, and during 15 years, to the Regional Planning and Public Works Department: Initially as Head of the Section of Appeals at the Legal Department (1984-1986), as General Head of the Legal Department (1987-1995), and finally as Services’ Managing Director (1995-1998).

In 1999 she joined Pareja & Associats, Advocats. Gloria Bardají also carries out an intense academic activity. Since 1993, she is Associate Professor of Administrative Law at the Universitat de Barcelona, and teaches at several postgraduate courses in Administrative Law and Land Use and Planning, such as: ICAB's Master of Planning, Master in Urban Planning and Land Policy at the  Carlos III University and UPC's Master in Urban Management and Valuation.

She has published in the referred subject areas and is a frequent lecturer in seminars and conferences devoted to Administrative Law and Land Use and Planning.
